We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department (ED) Nurses to join our team for various assignments.Job DescriptionAs an ED Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients in emergency situations. You will be responsible for assessing, triaging, and managing patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.Key ResponsibilitiesTriage, assess, and prioritize patients in the emergency department based on severity of illness or injury.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including respiratory and cardiovascular status.Provide advanced nursing care for patients in emergency and trauma situations.Ensure the proper documentation of patient care and treatments in compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements.Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency nursing best practices and protocols.Follow hospital infection control and safety procedures.QualificationsEssential:Valid NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) Registration.A minimum of 6 months experience working in an Emergency Department or in a similar acute care setting.Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
