Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out setting out and surveying duties across various project sites, working closely with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure accurate execution of design specs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out setting out and surveying duties across various project sites.
* Work closely with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure accurate execution of design specs.
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with project drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
* Maintain site records including as-builts, levels, and QA checklists.
* Support the delivery of programme milestones through effective on-site coordination.
* Contribute to HSEQ compliance, daily briefings, and safety observations.
Requirements:
* Proven site engineering/setting out experience in the construction or civils sector.
* Proficiency with setting out equipment (e.g. total station, GPS, AutoCAD, Leica/Trimble).
* Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of construction drawings.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across Ireland.
* Relevant Engineering or Construction qualification (Diploma or Degree).
