DesignBuild Search are working with a tier 1 contractor who have QS opportunities for a mix of projects throughout Dublin. Our client has been in operation for over 70 years working across commercial, residential, industrial and hotel projects. This position will give you the opportunity to work on prestigious projects throughout Dublin whilst working with recognised industry leaders. Requirements: Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field 3+ years post college experience 3+ years with a main contractor Responsible include: Post tender and pre contract activities: familiarisation with the tender file and assisting with preparing commercial targets for the project. During the contract period: the procurement of subcontractors, attending pre-award meetings, documentation and schedules, applications, variation schedules, measurement, controlling accounts, payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence and final account. During the post contract period: finalise subcontractor accounts and complete all filing and other documentation. Integrate the commercial strategy, amending to suit project as it develops.
