Your new role
Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller who will support and advise you, bringing you up to speed to ensure you succeed. There is an 8-strong Finance Team in place, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Finance Analysts and Accountants. Initially, you will look after a number of smaller entities and this will develop over time as you grow into the position.
* Preparing management accounts leading to the preparation of final annual accounts for external audit.
* Preparing weekly management reports as required, including but not limited to cashflows, gross profit calculations, KPI reports, etc.
* Post invoices, cash sheets, bank payments, bank reconciliations, creditor reconciliations on a weekly basis.
* Preparation of monthly payment runs for creditors.
* Preparation and submission of all necessary tax returns, including VAT returns, PAYE/PRSI returns and any other statutory returns required by CSO or other authorities.
* Liaising with external auditors in relation to statutory accounts and other related matters.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, Chartered, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or Qualified by Experience.
Solid Accounts software experience with good Excel.
