The Vocal & Music Academy (Leixlip) was established in 2013 as a singing school and has quickly built up a reputation as a professional, nurturing, student focussed school. We've added Piano, Guitar and Ukulele classes over time and these areas have helped establish The Vocal Academy as one of the best schools to learn your respective instrument in Leinster.

The Vocal & Music Academy are looking for an experienced Piano Teacher to teach in the school on Thursdays with potential to grow hours and more days.
We encourage our teachers to be self-motivated, self-reliant and responsible. To this end and within reason the successful candidate will have a certain amount of control over your availability via our booking system (Acuity). Training will be provided.
Applicants that are not already based in Ireland will not be considered
Responsibilities
* Building and retaining Relationships
* Managing and being responsible for your own diary, bookings, etc. via Acuity
* Being in good time for classes
* Maintaining a clean working space
* Dealing directly with students and parents of students
All applicants should be available to teach through Terms 1-3, ideally be available during July and August
Essential Requirements
* Relevant teaching qualifications.
* Being a Mentor to your students
* Experience teaching students from beginner to advanced skill levels (up to Grade 8)
* Experience teaching both adults and children.
* A student focussed philosophy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Motivated and responsible self-starter who is confident enough to demonstrate initiative and use your personality.
* Disciplined time keeper and organiser.
Desirable
* Experience teaching vocal technique or another instrument.
* Experience in performing as well as teaching
* Experience of using a booking system e.g. Acuity
* Experience teaching both individuals and group classes.

Pay: From €28.00 per hour
