Job Description
The role of Senior Manager, Third Party Manufacturing involves overseeing rigorous oversight of TPM operations for key late pipeline and newly commercialized products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supply of designated products, ensuring high quality product is manufactured in compliance with local and international regulations. They will also lead various teams without direct authority, providing program management support and coordinating operations for existing and new products manufactured with the supplier.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective planning and material procurement strategies to supply TPM with required materials.
* Participate in negotiation of Manufacturing Service Agreement and amendments to ensure compliance with terms.
* Conduct regular visits to Third Party Manufacturer sites to increase engagement, identify opportunities for safety, quality and process improvement.
* Communicate product forecasts and agree on manufacturing and delivery schedules with TPM.
* Ensure supplier delivers product according to demand forecasted in coordination with Supply Chain and Planning.
* Actively participate in development of Financial Operating Plan, Updates, LRP, and Standard processes to meet financial goals.
* Coordinate Steering Committee and monitor Virtual Operation Teams to evaluate performance, address issues, and escalate if necessary.
* Review status reports and prepare updates for Senior leadership.
* In collaboration with technical and quality teams, review process performance, quality trends, and agree on process improvement plans.
* Establish governance, guidelines, and communication channels to ensure effective collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in science or technical related field, is required. MSc or MBA degree is preferred. A minimum of 10+ years of experience in areas such as manufacturing, engineering, project management, quality and S&T is essential. Direct experience of Aseptic manufacturing is ideal. The individual must have a broad business perspective, knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes. Strong project experience and ability to influence others are crucial. Previous experience managing subcontracted relationships is preferred.
