As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join our team and help expand our footprint across Ireland's manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, and precision engineering sectors.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join our team and help expand our footprint across Ireland's manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, and precision engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Consultative Selling: Engage with engineering and manufacturing clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate Siemens solutions (NX, Teamcenter, Tecnomatix, etc.).
* Technical Pre-Sales Support: Deliver product demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept projects tailored to client requirements.
* Lead Generation & Development: Identify new business opportunities, nurture leads, and manage a pipeline from initial contact to close.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
* Solution Scoping: Work closely with the applications team to define and quote custom solutions, including post-processors, automation tools, and digital twin implementations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with technical consultants, support engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in smart manufacturing and PLM.
Qualifications & Experience
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in a technical sales, applications engineering, or business development role—ideally within CAD/CAM, PLM, or industrial software.
* Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and digital manufacturing concepts.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Commercial awareness and ability to negotiate technical solutions.
* Experience with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
