Our client, a top‑tier international law firm with a globally recognised Employment practice, is seeking to appoint a Newly Qualified Solicitor or a Trainee Solicitor due to qualify later this year. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market‑leading team operating at the forefront of domestic and cross‑border employment law matters.
As part of this high‑performing Employment team, you will work with a sophisticated global client base including multinational corporates, financial institutions, technology companies, pharmaceutical leaders, and major public‑sector bodies. You will gain hands‑on experience advising on a broad range of employment matters across both contentious and non‑contentious workstreams.
Your responsibilities will include supporting clients on complex employment advisory work, large‑scale business transformations, global workforce strategy, workplace investigations, and high‑value employment disputes. You will assist in drafting and negotiating employment‑related documentation, advising on regulatory and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions, and helping to deliver strategic solutions in fast‑moving, highly regulated environments.
A key part of the role will involve supporting clients on major cross‑border projects, including international restructurings, collective redundancies, TUPE/employee transfers, and integration work stemming from mergers and acquisitions. You will also have the opportunity to advise on sensitive internal investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, and employment litigation before the WRC and the courts.
The team advises on the full spectrum of workplace issues across all major industry sectors—technology, life sciences, financial services, energy, retail, and manufacturing—with exposure to many of the most high‑profile and complex employment mandates in the market.
This position is suited to individuals with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in building a career in employment law within a global firm. You will join a collaborative, international team offering world‑class training, mentorship, and long‑term progression opportunities.
