Athlone Town AFC is inviting applications for the role of Player Liaison Officer with our Women's Senior
Team.
This is a vital off-pitch role, centred on supporting and caring for our players' wellbeing, ensuring they are
fully supported in their personal and professional needs outside of matchday and training.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide holistic support for players' wellbeing, acting as the main point of contact for personal and welfare needs.
* Build positive relationships with players, creating a safe and supportive environment.
* Assist with logistics including travel, accommodation, schedules, and general off-field organisation.
* Ensure clear communication between players, coaching staff, and the club.
The Ideal Candidate
* A caring, approachable, and empathetic individual with a strong interest in player welfare.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
* Experience in player welfare, team management, or pastoral support is an advantage but not essential.
* Passionate about women's football and supporting athletes to thrive both on and off the pitch.
