TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Temporary Grade III Clerical Officer to join their team.
Job Type: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Location:Dundalk Pay scaleis€16.87- €26.25depending on previous relative public sector experience.
The Clerical Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the department under the direction of the assigned manager.
The role covers all aspects of clerical and administrative work to ensure the effective running of the department.
Key Duties: Day to day office duties e.g.
Correspondence, post, typing, Dictaphone typing, photocopying, filing, financial duties related to ordering stationery, equipment, organisation of events etc.
Logging all enquiries/telephone calls, complaints etc.
Prioritising same, dealing with queries keeping supervisor/manager informed of progress and activities.
Assist in the drafting and issue of letters, memos and general information to internal customers, clients, and general public where appropriate.
Recording minutes of meetings as required Populate, maintain, and update local databases and records.
Work closely with all functions within the service to deliver planned services of your department.
Understand the service and how it works.
Treat all information and service users with confidentiality and discretion.
Interpreting and providing written and oral information to staff and service users, i.e., by phone, letter, etc.
Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a busy administrative or clerical role Experience in minute-taking and formal correspondence drafting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach Skills: Grade III Clerical
