Job Title: Financial Crime Advisory
Job Summary:
* We are seeking an exceptional individual with a good understanding of the Financial Crime Advisory role to join our team.
* The successful candidate will lead advisory engagement, constructing business operating models, cost benefit analysis and business process modeling.
* This role involves engaging business users to capture and document business process models using industry standard frameworks and tools.
* The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into actionable change for fast delivery of technology and ensure rigour in the process by challenging and validating business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will engage with business users, understand problem statements and agree scope of engagement.
* This role involves interviewing product owners to understand as-is business processes and developing customer-driven to-be processes.
* The candidate will support the Business by documenting process models and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* They will be able to map customer experience using tools like personas, customer journeys etc.
* Gathering and analysing statistical data from business areas for supporting business case for change is also a key responsibility.
* The role involves researching and analysing best-in-class industry processes to support digitization & simplification of customer journeys.
* The candidate will support the Business in planning and designing digital strategies encouraging customer retention and customer loyalty.
* They will bring industry experience and thought leadership to advise on trends, future operating models and best-in-class journeys.
* A deep understanding of the business context and marketplace that our business stakeholders are operating in is essential.
* The successful candidate will employ process modelling techniques to capture requirements and work hand-in-hand with Product Owners and Development teams to deliver process improvements.
* They will work with multiple product owners to write & develop clear, non-implementation specific epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Supporting and contributing to a metrics-driven culture within our function is also important.
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate will have experience working on an end-to-end Financial Crime implementation program (operating model, governance structure, process and technology delivery).
* They will have experience working on Financial Crime (AML, Fraud, Global Sanctions) technology solutions like NetReveal, Detica, Fenergo and/or Hotscan.
* A business analysis skillset – ability to manage client workshops, process modeling, requirements gathering, stakeholder management is essential.
* Financial services experience is a definite plus having worked in banking or similar organisations.
* A strong background in retail financial services advisory (preferably change management / regulatory projects experience) and a proven ability to quickly understand business strategy and objectives is required.
* The ideal candidate will have a 2.1 or higher in a related discipline from an academic institution; Masters a plus.
