OverviewRedlough Group are a second-generation family business SME providing Landscaping Services – both Grounds Maintenance & Project Installations to nationwide, commercial clients. We are on track for aspiring growth plans in the next 3-5 years and looking for an ambitious Financial Controller (FC) to join our team.We are recruiting for a FC who will take responsibility for all financial management aspects of company operations, to ensure we deliver on our clients commitments. This role reports directly to the Directors & Board. This FC will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, cost management & process improvements, and leading a small team. This may suit a Senior Accountant ready to step into a leadership role within a commercially focused, fast-paced services environment.The ideal person will come from a similar services-based industry, such as Construction / FM. Ideally, they will have a Gold Standard Qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or CPA), plus 5-8 years plus post-qualification experience.ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day financial operations, including 2x weekly payrollsOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable & payroll functionsPrepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecastsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements (Revenue, CSO)Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial controlsPartner with senior stakeholders to assist with budgets, forecasting & strategic planning, including implementing strong procedures for evaluating and acquiring capital assetsLead and develop non-financial managers with key reportsContinuously improve financial processes, systems, and controlsPrepare detailed monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Director/Board reports & sign off on Year-end Accounts & analysisComplete annual budgets & forecasts in clients with agreed contractsOngoing development and review of internal controls and processesImplementation and continuous improvement of current information systems, including upgrading where appropriateWork closely with operational management – Preparing and monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual rolling budget information and responding decisively to budget deviationsQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have experience in a similar services-based industry and hold a Gold Standard qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or CPA) with 5-8 years or more post-qualification experience.Location & Working ArrangementsRole will be based near Dublin 15, but not easily accessible by public transport.
