Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the preparation of food, meals and snacks for residents as required by the Chef and the Person in Charge
* Transport meals to each household as required and to serve meals in the Households.
* Putting away stock and labeling, covering, and storing food.
* Washing up of all items used in the kitchen area and maintaining the kitchen, the cooking areas and storage areas in a clean and tidy state in line with cleaning schedules.
* To carry out such other reasonable duties, appropriate to the role as may be required.

* respecting privacy, dignity and to promote confidentiality within a warm homely setting.

* supporting the Cook in provision of resident's meals, whilst maintaining food hygiene safety standards.
* maintaining cleanliness and complete kitchen cleaning duties as required daily.
* Complying with Moorehall Lodge's Health and Safety Policy and procedures at all times.
* attending training days/courses and meetings on or off site, as and when required.
