We are now inviting applications for the above position within the AI & Process Automation Team.
We are seeking a technically strong IT Business Analyst to join our AI & Automation team, driving the identification, analysis and implementation of innovative solutions that make use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Process Automation.
This role requires a strong understanding of our organisations internal processes, systems and culture, alongside the ability to explore and apply cutting-edge technologies to solve business problems.
The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions are delivered efficiently and deliver measurable business value.
The responsibilities of the role include but not limited to: Requirements Gathering & Analysis Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, AI driven process improvements.
Document business requirements, use cases and workflows with a strong emphasis on clarity and completeness.
Translate complex business needs into actionable requirements for technical teams.
Technology Exploration & Solution Design Assess and recommend solutions utilising Generative AI, Machine Learning and Digital Process Automation tools.
Partner with technical teams to design solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered solutions against business needs.
Stakeholder Management & Communication Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, combining deep company knowledge with expertise in emerging technologies.
Communicate complex technical capabilities in a business-friendly manner.
Build consensus across teams and manage expectations effectively.
Process Improvement & Change Enablement Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose AI or automation-based enhancements.
Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions.
Continuously assess outcomes to ensure long-term value realisation.
Agile software development champion: Support development team in embedding best practice agile software development.
Develop a culture of rapid deployment and iterative improvements.
Work as a conduit with the business for incorporating regular feedback into product development.
What we are looking for: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in food retail, wholesale, supply chain, or technology-driven environments.
Strong internal knowledge of company operations, processes and systems.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML models and Digital Process Automation platforms.
Excellent skills in requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working on complex IT systems.
Problem-solvingandanalytical thinkingto get to the root of an issue.
A good multitasker who is able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Conflict resolution andnegotiation skills.
A team player with proven ability to work autonomously.
Excellent oral and written communication skills Good interpersonal & self-organizing skills and an ability to build relationships with relevant stakeholders.
What is nice to have: Hands-on experience with AI/automation tools.
Exposure to agile methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
Understanding of data governance, compliance and ethical considerations around AI adoption.
