Accounts Assistant | Dublin City
The client –
A leading law firm based in Dublin City Centre is seeking to hire an accounts assistant for their busy finance team.
Key responsibilities of the accounts assistant include –
1. Processing a high volume of daily office and client account payments
2. Dealing with banks on a daily basis
3. Processing VAT & VIES returns
4. Assist with the processing of invoices and expenses for the purchase ledger of two companies
5. Assist with creditor statement reconciliations
6. Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal clients
7. Liaise with partners and internal staff in relation to general finance queries
8. Provide cover for other members of the finance team
9. Cover the finance helpdesk
Candidate Profile –
10. As the accounts assistant, you will be working towards IATI or equivalent accounts qualification.
11. You will have 2 years' general book keeping experience
12. You will be a team player who can work well under pressure with previous exposure to VAT returns.
