Practice Nurse Required to cover Maternity Leave – Newport Medical Centre Briarfield Co Tipperary (10 mins from Castletroy, Limerick)We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team, covering Maternity leave from mid November **** for 9 months (with an option of long term 2 day a week position.)Hours are 9-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9-1pm Friday.
We have excellent medical and administrative support.
We are fully computerised using Socrates.
Duties will include but are not limited to:· Chronic Disease Management (CDM)· Phlebotomy· Cervical Screening· Immunisations (infant, travel, covid, flu, pneumococcal)· Skin and wound care/Dressings· Cardiology (ECG, Blood pressure monitor)· Ear Syringing· General Practice Nurse duties· Stock Management and Ordering.
The right candidate will be registered with An Bord Altranais, enthusiastic, empathetic, and professional, a good communicator who enjoys working as part of a team, and a flexible approach to work.
