Overview
The CRC Children’s Disability Network (CDNT) provides intervention for children aged 0‑18 with complex developmental needs. This role is part of a dynamic team committed to a Family‑Centred Practice Model and continuous improvement.
Location
Balbriggan, Clontarf, Swords – Dublin
Contract
Permanent, Whole‑time
Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality speech and language therapy to children within the specified age range.
Assess and manage dysphagia and related conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and lead clinics when appropriate.
Participate in service delivery planning, development, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
Contribute to research, audit, and educational activities within the organization.
Maintain professional development and engage in CPD activities.
Essential Requirements
A recognized IASLT Speech and Language Therapy qualification and current registration with CORU.
Minimum of three years post‑qualification experience, including work with clients presenting with physical and sensory disabilities.
Experience assessing and managing clients with dysphagia.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Evidence of commitment to CPD.
Full driver’s licence and access to a car; candidates who do not meet this can apply with the understanding that the licence will be required during the interview stage.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in service delivery planning and development.
Experience working with clients presenting with excessive drooling.
Experience in education, training, and involvement in research or audit.
Experience coordinating clinics and working at a consultative level alongside other lead therapists.
Interest in the development of clinical skills related to drooling.
Salary
Department of Health salary range for Senior Speech and Language Therapist Grade 3379 (€64,551 – €76,007).
