Regulatory Assurance Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Regulatory Assurance Specialist. This role will report to the Head of Regulatory Assurance within the Global Regulatory Change Management Department.
The successful candidate will lead and manage global regulatory assurance projects across the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards. They will also provide strategic thought leadership in designing and executing the Regulatory Assurance Methodology, focusing on regulatory change and remediation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic thought leadership in designing and executing the Regulatory Assurance Methodology
* Managing multiple regulatory assurance projects simultaneously
* Leading the planning of assurance reviews while maintaining flexibility to accommodate shifting organizational priorities
* Assessing the adequacy of proposed and existing controls to mitigate regulatory risk and reporting findings
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated subject matter expertise in regulatory compliance topics impacting the financial services sector, preferably in financial risk areas or non-financial risk areas. They will also have several years of experience in regulatory assurance, legal and/or compliance risk management, including regulatory interpretation, control assessments, and assurance activities.
