Job Details
* Job Title: Welder / Fabricators
* Location: Carlow, Leinster, Ireland
* Job Type: Full-time
* Working Hours: 42 to 43 hours per week, Overtime paid after 39 hours at x1.5.
* Accommodation: Can be provided at the cost of the candidate
Job Responsibilities
* Perform welding tasks including MIG welding to fabricate and repair metal components.
* Interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications to carry out fabrications accurately.
* Ensure high standards of workmanship and adhere to safety regulations on all welding projects.
* Conduct quality checks on completed welds and fabrications to ensure premium standards.
* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order and report any issues as necessary.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines effectively.
* Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and workflows.
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of welding/fabrication experience in an industrial or agricultural setting.
* Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and practices.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Solid work ethic, with the willingness to take on challenging tasks.
Desired Experience
* Experience working with agricultural machinery or related industries is an advantage.
* A background in fabrication and metalworking processes is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
* Competitive hourly wage ranging from €18 to €19, commensurate with experience.
* Overtime pay available for hours worked beyond 39 hours per week.
