Key Responsibilities
* To oversee the implementation of efficient manufacturing processes and identify areas for process improvements.
* To collaborate with production staff to ensure smooth operation and adherence to quality standards.
* To develop, validate and implement new or upgraded manufacturing processes.
* To design, build, test and maintain mechanical/electrical assembly jigs, fixtures and purpose-built test equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
* A minimum 3 years' experience working in mid/high volume manufacturing environments is essential.
* Familiarity with structured problem-solving techniques is necessary. Practical application skills are desired but not essential at this time.
