About the Role
This is an enjoyable and rewarding role that promotes people's involvement in various activities, such as gardening, arts/crafts, and many more on-site at the day service. You will also assist them with activities and day trips in the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., social care, health, community care sector) at level 7 minimum;
* An understanding of the New Directions model and ability to develop and maintain support/care plans;
* Experience working with both intellectual disabilities and autism;
* A full driving license with eligibility to drive in Ireland and willingness to drive company vehicles;
* Excellent communication skills; and
* Strong values and person-centred approach.
