Job Description
Your role as a Night Manager involves ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night. This includes maintaining the highest level of customer service, managing guest relations, and overseeing health and safety protocols. You will also be responsible for performing front office duties, managing a team of Night Porters, and leading the Food & Beverage service at night.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery
* Manage guest relations and resolve any issues that may arise
* Oversee health and safety protocols, including fire walks and security checks
* Perform front office duties, including running the night audit report and check-in/check-out guests
* Manage a team of Night Porters and delegate tasks effectively
* Lead the Food & Beverage service at night and ensure high standards are maintained

What You Will Need
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar night or reception role
* Excellent knowledge of the hotel business
* Previous hospitality experience is essential
* Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera is important
* Knowledge and experience of using an electronic front office system
* Excellent leadership and development skills
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee and delegate work to others
* A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests
