Roles and Responsibilities
This candidate will manage the team in providing high-quality financial insights and operational support across a diverse range of industries including Technology, Retail, Engineering, Hospitality and more. Key responsibilities include the following.
Input/upload data relating to sales & purchase invoices
Post receipts/payments and perform bank reconciliations
Manage aged receivable/payable listings & comms
Analyse and report on monthly P&L performance
Track balance sheet movement and verify balances via third party outlets
Prepare Revenue returns incl. VAT & related compliance reporting
Assist in preparing payroll in line with our internal payroll management tool
Enhance financial and operational processes, both internally and externally
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role, as required
Requirements
A degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience as a manager or mentor within a team
Ability to deal with sensitive matters professionally and confidentially
Ability to work flexibly, take initiative and work to tight deadlines
Interest in data analysis and willingness to learn about AI-driven processes
Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel (essential)
Experience producing management accounts / month end reporting (desirable)
Experience with SQL coding or BI dashboards like Power BI, Tableau (desirable)
