Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the routes of a large fleet, ensuring timely delivery of goods to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effective management of routes to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
* Analyzing planned vs actual pick up rates and tonnage to identify areas for improvement.
* Engaging with driver colleagues to promote route efficiency and improve customer service.
* Onboarding new customers and implementing pull-up services to enhance our logistics capabilities.
* Accident reporting and investigation to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
* Recording and recommending key performance metrics to optimize logistics operations.
* Supporting the Transport Managers in ensuring exceptional customer service and meeting agreed service level timelines.
Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years experience in a transport planning role.
* Strong knowledge of route apps and CRM management systems.
* Proven ability to work independently in a standalone role.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Highly organized with robust planning ability.
* Motivated and reliable individual who can multi-task under pressure.
* Strong communication and organization skills.
