Job Summary
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
The Sales Apprentice is a key role in support the Sales & Marketing Team.
Responsibilities
Support the Sales and Business Development team with day-to-day sales activities and customer engagement.
Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders under supervision.
Carry out site surveys to gather information for quotations and project scoping.
Maintain accurate customer information and sales records using the company CRM system.
Assist in identifying and following up on new sales opportunities.
Participate in company marketing and promotional videos, representing Electric Skyline in a professional and confident manner.
Contribute to social media and marketing activities by sharing insights from projects and client interactions.
Collaborate with design, operations and project delivery teams to ensure smooth coordination.
Attend customer meetings, product demonstrations and site inspections.
Take part in structured training sessions, academic modules and mentorship as part of the apprenticeship.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Leaving Certificate (minimum).
Must meet entry requirements for the Sales Apprenticeship Programme (QQI Level 6) as set out by Apprenticeship.ie and TU Dublin.
Certifications
Full, clean driving licence (or working towards one) desirable.
Experience
Previous experience in door to door sales, retail, customer service, technical sales or administration is an advantage but not essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable appearing on camera and contributing to promotional content.
Technically savvy, with an interest in digital tools, CRM systems, and modern communication platforms.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Keen interest in technology, lighting, sustainability or renewable energy.
Enthusiastic, professional and eager to learn.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
Confident working both independently and collaboratively.
Basic understanding of sales processes, customer service, or marketing.
Awareness of electrical, lighting or renewable energy industries.
Familiarity with digital content creation or social media platforms.
