Now Hiring: Residential Service Manager / Team Leader – Supported Accommodation (Adults with Disabilities)
We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager / Team Leader to lead a supported accommodation service for adults with disabilities in Sligo.
This is a dual leadership role, combining:
1. 15.6 hours as Residential Service Manager
2. 23.4 hours as Team Leader
This position carries responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of a designated centre, ensuring services are delivered in line with legislation, best practice, and person-centred principles.
The Role
As Person in Charge, you will:
3. Oversee the overall management of the designated residential service
4. Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations and safeguarding legislation
5. Lead, support, and develop a multidisciplinary staff team
6. Manage operational planning, risk, quality, and continuous service improvement
7. Liaise with families, stakeholders, regulators, and senior management
8. Oversee staffing, finance, facilities, and resources
9. Promote a culture of inclusion, quality, and continuous improvement
Requirements
10. Minimum Level 7 qualification in Health & Social Care
11. Management qualification (or willingness to complete same as soon as possible)
12. Minimum 3 years' management or supervisory experience within a HIQA-registered service
13. Strong leadership and people management skills
14. Full driving licence (essential)
15. Experience in Acquired Brain Injury, disability, or Mental Health services (advantageous)
16. Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making skills
17. Flexibility, including participation in an on-call rota
Salary
18. Residential Service Manager: €66,.91 – €70,.25 (pro rata)
19. Team Leader: €46,.01 – €51,.72 (pro rata)
