We are currently recruiting for a Spa Operations Manager at Ashford Castle
Located in Ireland's only Forbes 5-star resort, the Spa at Ashford Castle is seeking a goals-oriented and dynamic individual to support the Director of Spa and Wellness in the operational management of the Spa & Salon experience. The successful candidate will focus on service quality and product inventory management.
The role is operations-focused, responsible for the daily running of the spa, including:
* Ensuring exceptional guest service in line with a Forbes 5-star hotel.
* Managing staff performance to meet 5-star standards.
* Focusing on team development and training.
* Overseeing sales, budgets, and marketing strategies.
* Maintaining efficient communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guests with the highest levels of personal care and attention, exceeding expectations according to Forbes 5-star standards.
* Create a welcoming and relaxed environment for guests and staff.
* Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction levels.
* Manage employee relations and grievances per hotel policy.
* Conduct regular team meetings and appraisals.
* Promote all aspects of Ashford Castle and Red Carnation.
* Implement 'little touches' to exceed guest expectations.
* Ensure professional service, staff training, motivation, and standards are maintained, complying with Red Carnation Top 12 Service Standards.
* Work with the Director of Spa and Wellness to meet budgets and revenue targets.
* Lead guest hospitality efforts, exemplifying excellent customer service.
* Prepare staff schedules aligned with business needs.
* Participate in interviewing and hiring qualified staff.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an Assistant/Spa Manager aspiring to advance within the 5-star industry. Applicants should have 4-5 years of team management experience, enthusiasm, professionalism, and leadership skills to motivate the team and enhance guest service delivery.
