Job Description
We are inviting applications for full-time and part-time Food & Beverage professionals who have knowledge and experience in food service with an eye for detail and take pride in delivering 5* service to join and enhance our established team in The Stables Brasserie and Bar.
As part of the Food and Beverage team, you will be operating in an exciting, fast-paced quality service outlet. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills under the guidance of the food & beverage management team. This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the complete satisfaction of each guest.
* Be helpful and work in contact with other departments.
* Ensure the restaurant area is always kept clean and tidy.
* Read, understand, and comply with responsibilities as defined in the Health and Safety Statement and Staff Handbook.
* Comply with all reasonable requests by Management.
* Maintain a professional and respectful attitude and behavior towards guests, colleagues, and management.
* Learn the restaurant’s table plan.
* Deliver trays to the appropriate station and ensure that plates are served in a timely manner.
* If on a ‘Commis/Pass’ shift, ensure good communication between kitchen and service.
Role
* Greet and escort customers to their tables.
* Present menu and provide detailed information upon request (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
* Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
* Inform customers about the day’s specials.
* Offer menu recommendations upon request.
* Upsell additional products when appropriate.
* Take accurate food and drinks orders using POS software.
* Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol.
* Communicate precisely with Kitchen Staff.
* Serve food and drink orders.
* Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, report problems.
* Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
* Deliver checks and collect bills.
* Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
* Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations.
* Follow all relevant health department regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service to guests.
We have full-time and part-time positions available on a rostered basis, including weekends and evening shifts.

Qualifications
* Basic math skills.
* Previous experience in a similar role (1+ years).
* Attentiveness and patience with customers.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
* Active listening and effective communication skills.
* Team spirit.
* Flexibility to work in shifts.
* Punctuality.
* Spoken English (minimum B2 - CERF Certificate).
