Job Title: Property Loss Adjuster
This is a field-based role supporting customers through the full claim lifecycle.
You'll work on diverse and complex property claims, making a real impact.
* Manage claims from initiation to resolution, maintaining a customer-first approach
* Conduct on-site assessments of loss/damage and compile accurate findings and reports
* Communicate with customers and third parties in a clear and empathetic manner
* Negotiate settlement outcomes aligned with regulatory objectives
* Deliver case decisions within designated authority levels and company processes
* Handle enquiries efficiently, escalating as necessary
Key Responsibilities:
1. Claims Management: Manage a portfolio of property claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services to customers.
2. Assessment and Reporting: Conduct on-site assessments of loss/damage and compile accurate findings and reports to support informed decision-making.
3. Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and third parties, ensuring clear and empathetic communication throughout the claims process.
4. Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate settlement outcomes aligned with regulatory objectives, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes for all parties involved.
5. Case Decision Making: Deliver case decisions within designated authority levels and company processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
6. Enquiry Handling: Handle customer enquiries efficiently, escalating as necessary to maintain service excellence and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* CIP qualified
* 3+ years' experience in property loss adjusting
* Dip LA or working towards ACILA/ACII (desirable)
* Experience dealing with brokers and diverse customer base
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High attention to detail and analytical skills
