Role Description
This is a full or part time, role for a MICE Sales Manager at CityNorth Hotel & Conference Centre in County Meath, Ireland. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the MICE Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue from meetings, incentives, conferences, and events. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining client relationships, negotiating contracts, planning and coordinating events, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role also involves working closely with the operations team to ensure the successful execution of all events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales for meetings, conferences, and events at CityNorth Hotel.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, DMCs, PCOs and third party agencies.
* Develop tailored proposals and presentations to win new business.
* Maintain online listings and presence on selected MICE platforms.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
* Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
* Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings
* Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and presentations.
* Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity.
* Ensure CRM systems are updated with all client interactions and sales activity.
Qualifications
* 3 years MICE sales experience.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Event planning and coordination experience.
* Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in using sales and event management software.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred
* Ability to work on-site in County Meath, Ireland and to travel nationally and internationally to sales meetings and trade shows.
