Fixed Term Whole Time Post (duration to 30th September 2027) UCC wishes to appoint an experienced individual to the role of Biobank Project Manager.
The Project Manager will have primary responsibility for the end-to-end management, development and implementation for this region of an accredited sustainable biobank structure to ISO standard, which meets all ethical, regulatory and quality standards, hence referred to as "The Project".
The project manager will support both UCC and the HSE SW Region to achieve this goal.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, very organised and capable of managing a heavy and diverse workload.
They will provide high level administration and co-ordination to the above process in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and will ensure that the process meets good practise and data protection standards.
They will manage the day-to-day operations relating to this process including meeting co-ordination, essential data collection elements, strategy document development amongst other tasks; in accordance with UCC & HSE requirements and other relevant legislation.
If required, they will provide support and oversight to additional staff hired to support the process.

Appointment may be made on the Admin II Salary Scale: €72,044 - €91,259 (Scale B) / €68,551 - €86,698 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
