We're seeking an experienced, hands-onSales & Operations Manager to lead our Cork branch and drive performance across key client accounts. This pivotal role combines strategic
Key Account Management
with operational leadership and
Health & Safety oversight
- ensuring income growth, compliance, and a culture of safety and customer excellence. You'll spend most your time (70% Field / 30% Branch Oversight) in the field engaging key customers and developing business opportunities, while also ensuring the Cork branch operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest company standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Revenue & Growth:
Drive income generation and ensure the branch meets or exceeds all revenue targets.
* Client Engagement:
Build and nurture relationships with key customers through regular site visits, ensuring customer satisfaction and business development.
* Health & Safety Leadership:
Act as the branch's lead advocate for Health & Safety - ensuring all processes, equipment, and behaviours align with company and legislative standards.
* Operational Excellence:
Maintain high standards in testing, stock management, compliance, and brand presentation.
* Team Development:
Lead, coach, and motivate branch colleagues to achieve sales, safety, and operational goals.
* Performance & Compliance:
Ensure all systems, audits, and quality standards are consistently met and that the branch adheres to company policies.
* Continuous Improvement:
Promote teamwork, efficiency, and a customer-first mindset across all operations.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
* Proven
senior management
experience within a fast-paced, customer-facing industry (preferably construction, hire, or building materials).
* Strong
sales and key account management
background with a history of achieving revenue growth.
* Excellent
financial acumen
and experience managing budgets and branch costs.
* Effective
people leadership
skills - rota planning, training, and performance management.
* Outstanding
communication and relationship-building
abilities.
* STAMP 4 Visa ESSENTIAL
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven senior management experience within a fast-paced, customer-facing industry (preferably construction, hire, or building materials).
Strong sales and key account management background with a history of achieving revenue growth.
