The company operates from a modern facility at Brownstown, Castleinch, Co. Kilkenny and is the sole distributor for Tesab Engineering products on the island of Ireland.
Job Summary:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be the face of our business—building relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their equipment needs, and providing tailored solutions from our wide range of machine and machine parts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the construction, mining, quarrying and recycling sectors.
* Manage a portfolio of existing clients and maintain strong business relationships.
* Provide expert advice on machines and machine parts and compatibility.
* Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
* Collaborate with the technical and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
* Attend industry events and trade shows as needed.
Requirements:
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Industry Experience
2. 2–5+ years of sales experience in quarrying, construction, mining, or heavy equipment sectors.
3. Familiarity with equipment such as crushers, screeners, excavators, loaders and conveyors.
4. Technical Knowledge
5. Understanding of mechanical components and parts related to heavy machinery (e.g., bearings, hydraulic systems, wear parts, belts, gears).
6. Ability to read technical manuals, parts diagrams, or equipment schematics is a big plus.
7. Sales Competency
8. Proven ability to generate leads, manage accounts, and close deals.
9. Experience with B2B (business-to-business) sales.
10. Strong negotiation, pricing, and quote preparation skills.
