Senior Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at Jobcontax.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing engineering and design tasks, producing construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers.
Under the direction of a Senior Engineer, you will design Mechanical/HVAC services packages in Revit & AutoCAD, coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines such as electrical, structural, architectural and process to develop designs.
You will follow quality and CAD/BIM standards, provide technical support and assistance to Engineers, and perform quality review checks for 2D/3D modelling and Mech/HVAC deliverables.
This is a contract role, working on long-term projects for one of Ireland's leading EPCm consultancies and a global player in the Semiconductor, Pharma and Biotech sectors.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Building Services/Mechanical (HVAC) Engineering, at least 10 years of practical application of mechanical engineering and design experience, including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and related mechanical building systems.
You should also have at least 5 years' Design experience with mission critical facilities in the industrial/advanced technology sector, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
As this is a client-facing role, you will spend 2 days per week conducting/client & design site walks in Leixlip, Co Kildare.
Your rate will be negotiable based on your experience and qualifications.
