Role Overview
Uniphar are seeking a dynamic and purpose-driven
Senior
Communications Manager
to lead the development and execution of change management and internal communications strategies that support organisational transformation.

This role will be instrumental in shaping how we communicate change across the organisation—ensuring clarity, consistency, and connection at every level. You will lead the design and delivery of internal communication strategies that engage employees, build trust, and drive alignment with our business goals. Working closely with senior leaders, HR, and project teams, you will ensure that change is communicated in a way that is timely, transparent, and tailored to diverse audiences.

Reporting to the Group HR Director, Transformation and Integration with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer, this role will be central for crafting and executing internal communication strategies that connect employees to our purpose, values, and transformation journey, while fostering a culture of transparency, trust, and inclusion.You will also need to work closely with various internal stakeholders across the regions.

Key Responsibilities
Communications

* Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy, aligned to the overall business goals.
* Support, cascade and execute communication of our people strategy
* Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with business priorities and change initiatives (e.g. internal roadshows, supporting with internal technology related updates and FAQs).
* Coordinate all communication to ensure high level of participation in relation to yearly Engagement Surveys
* Lead the communication elements in relation to the Executive team roadshows and townhalls
* Provide oversight for Uniphi and annual strategy
* Responsible for communicating to new joiners and internal promotions at management level
* Implement internal communication plans that align with strategic priorities and change initiatives.
* Craft clear, compelling messaging for various audiences, including leadership, managers, and frontline employees.
* Manage communication channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, town halls, digital platforms such as our Uniphi internal portal) to ensure consistent and timely messaging.
* Monitor and measure communication effectiveness and employee engagement, adjusting strategies as needed.
* Create engaging, audience-specific content that informs, inspires, and drives action—across formats such as newsletters, intranet articles, leadership blogs, videos, podcasts, and live events.
* Own and evolve internal communication channels to ensure they are modern, accessible, and effective (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, digital signage).
* Partner with senior leaders and HR to shape and deliver consistent messaging that reflects our values and strategic direction.
* Lead the editorial calendar and storytelling approach to ensure timely and relevant communication across the organisation.
* Manage relationships with third-party agencies and suppliers when required.
* Coordinate and promote key relationships with regards to CSR

Stakeholder Engagement

* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor communication and change approaches accordingly.
* Facilitate feedback loops and two-way communication to ensure employee voices are heard and considered.
* Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on change and communication best practices.

Change Management

* Implement change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption.
* Partner with senior leaders, HR, and project teams to embed change initiatives across the organisation (e.g. HR tier 1 system rollout, pension auto-enrolment etc.).
* Conduct impact assessments and readiness evaluations to identify change risks and mitigation strategies.
* Develop and deliver training and support materials to facilitate change adoption and support with ongoing projects internally.

Qualifications & Experience

* Degree qualified and 5+ years relevant professional experience, in communications role
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent copywriting skills, with demonstrable experience in creating clear and persuasive copy.
* Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels (including at MD and Board level).
* Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
* Some experience in change management within a complex organisation.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
