Mechanical Technician Hours:37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7.
JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our growing organisation.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining all mechanical systems across the campus, including HVAC, plumbing and water systems.
The Mechanical Technician plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of all building facilities, ensuring a comfortable, efficient, and safe environment for all athletes, staff, and visitors.
To be the beating heart of Irish sport and the jewel in the Irish sporting landscape The home of Irish sport; A vibrant hub of daily activity; An iconic venue to be proud; Hosting great events Responsibilities Tasks Fault Diagnosis and Maintenance Carry out fault diagnosis on plant and equipment (Mech/Elec & HVAC/Fabric) to ensure maximum uptime.
Maintain, and troubleshoot technical and BMS systems.
Support 3rd party suppliers for the provision of services for specialized plant and equipment.
Ensure availability of business-critical equipment.
Support the Maintenance and Engineering Supervisor in all campus PPMs and reactive works Documentation and Compliance Ensure site documentation is maintained, reviewed, and updated in accordance with best practices.
Ensure all works are recorded, updated, and closed out on our maintenance management system Flex Maint.
Comply with statutory legislation and department rules and requirements in furtherance of your own and your team's welfare and safety.
Training and Development Undergo programs of training and development as may be required from time to time.
General Duties Always represent the best interest of the department/campus.
Flexibility to work irregular hours on occasion, 5 days over seven as requested by your line manager.
Perform other duties as may be required.
