What They Are Looking For
They are seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee multiple project sites across West Dublin and surrounding counties. This is a senior-level appointment, reporting directly to the Commercial Director and working closely with Project Directors and Site Leads. The role sits at the heart of commercial governance across a diverse portfolio of active projects.
This opportunity will suit a commercially astute senior professional with 10+ years’ experience within the Irish contractor or consultancy market—someone confident operating in regulated environments and capable of balancing board-level reporting with hands-on commercial leadership.
Responsibilities
* Lead commercial governance across multiple live project sites
* Oversee cost planning, budgeting and financial forecasting
* Manage CVRs and monthly commercial reporting to senior leadership
* Drive procurement strategy and subcontractor negotiation
* Ensure effective contract administration across regulated project environments
* Mitigate commercial risk and manage change control processes
* Oversee final accounts and dispute resolution where required
* Mentor and develop site-based Quantity Surveying teams
* Maintain strong client and consultant relationships
* Support tender reviews and pre-construction commercial input
Criteria for the Role
* 10+ years’ experience within the Irish contractor or consultancy market
* Proven experience on large-scale pharmaceutical, commercial or secure infrastructure projects
* Strong commercial awareness and contract management capability
* Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring commercial teams
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
* Experience managing projects up to €40m in value
* Excellent stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
* Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and procurement routes
