We are seeking an experienced Production Chef to join our team in a busy production kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing high-quality food in large quantities while maintaining strict food safety standards. Our products are used in both the restaurant industry and on available on store shelves nationwide
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items in bulk quantities according to specifications
Follow standardized recipes and production schedules
Ensure proper food storage, handling, and rotation
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
Operate industrial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with hot filling and packaging processes
Monitor food quality and consistency
Collaborate with kitchen team to meet production targets
Requirements:
Food Safety Level 1 certification (minimum)
Food Safety Level 3 certification (preferred)
Allergy awareness training is required
Previous experience in a production kitchen or similar high-volume environment
Strong knowledge of bulk cooking techniques and processes
Experience with hot filling and packaging procedures
Good English Language Skills - verbal and written
Excellent attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills
