We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 12 years of experience in highways and active travel or related infrastructure projects.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established consultancy and further expand your skills and experience across a variety of projects. The successful candidate will work on a diverse project portfolio including national roads, greenway, active travel, and major highways design and build schemes. The role offers a clear path for career progression with opportunities to advance to Associate and Director-level positions within the company.What would my main responsibilities be in this role?Leading multi-disciplinary design teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the required timescales, quality and budgetsSupervising and mentoring senior and junior staff within the Sustainable Infrastructure sectorPreparation of technical reports and tender documentsPlanning and managing design work, working closely with Engineering Discipline Leads and TechniciansEnsuring compliance with our quality assurance and management systems and relevant health and safety legislationCoordinating his/her work with other members of the project and Sustainable Infrastructure teamManaging the client relationship and communications for his/her projectsAm I the right person for the role?Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with Chartered Engineer status12 years post-graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway and infrastructure schemes, including delivering projects in IrelandDelivery of highway or greenway projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 7Experience in the delivery of design and build projectsMulti-disciplinary design management experienceExperience engaging with clients, external stakeholders and subconsultantsExperience in creating and managing budgetsCandidate should be a high-energy professional with excellent communication, organisational and analytical skillsFlexible and a good team playerWorks efficiently and on own initiativeMust be prepared to travel to site visits and client meetingsIs FT the right fit for you?Ready to take the next step?
