We are presently recruiting a Panel Beater / Body Shop Technician for our clients, a main car dealer in Tralee, County Kerry. Working on all makes of vehicles, you will have a minimum of two years' experience, work well as part of a team and will ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed. This is a full-time position based in Tralee, County Kerry.
Responsibilities
1. Assess and evaluate vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs.
2. Perform repairs on vehicle bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
3. Use welding, cutting, and soldering tools to repair structural damage.
4. Sand, grind, and prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing.
5. Apply primers, paints, and sealants to restored areas for a seamless finish.
6. Operate and maintain hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment.
7. Ensure proper alignment and fit of vehicle components after repairs.
8. Collaborate with other technicians, including paint specialists, to ensure comprehensive repairs.
9. Provide accurate repair cost estimates and timelines to customers.
10. Follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment during all procedures.
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
12. Stay updated on industry advancements, repair techniques, and best practices.
13. Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and customer service guidelines
Experiences:
14. 2+ years' experience
15. Recognised trade qualification
16. Full driving licence
