The Opportunity
Our client, a rapidly growing professional services firm with a strong reputation in the mid-market, is seeking to appoint a senior leader at Director or Partner level within their Financial Services Tax team. This is a strategic leadership role, working in close partnership with a US-based entity to expand fund-level activity and strengthen their footprint in the Irish financial services market.
Ireland continues to grow as a global hub for wealth and asset management, and this role places you at the centre of that growth - shaping a specialist FS tax practice with international reach while building long-term relationships across the domestic financial services ecosystem.
The Key Responsibilities
* Lead and grow the firm's FS tax practice, with a particular focus on wealth and asset management clients.
* Partner with US colleagues to deliver cross-border tax solutions and drive fund-level engagement.
* Build, manage, and expand client relationships within the Irish financial services market.
* Provide technical leadership across multiple asset classes, ensuring best-in-class tax advisory services.
* Act as a visible leader in the FS tax space, representing the firm with regulators, industry groups, and prospective clients.
* Mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing team to support growth.
The Person
* An experienced FS tax leader at Director or Partner level.
* Proven technical expertise across multiple asset classes, ideally with deep exposure to wealth and asset management.
* Strong professional network within the Irish FS tax and wider financial services community.
* Commercially astute, with a track record of winning new business and delivering long-term growth.
* Ambitious, strategic, and motivated to shape a practice with international scale and local impact.
