Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Staff Grade Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with children, young people, and adults, providing psychological assessments and therapeutic support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify individual needs and develop evidence-informed treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
* Deliver individual and group-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and other evidenced-based approaches.
* Provide consultation and support to parents, carers, and other professionals involved in client care.
* Participate in service development, quality initiatives, and continuous professional improvement.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology.
* Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist status through the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
* Demonstrable knowledge of a range of psychological assessment and therapeutic models.
* Experience delivering psychological interventions to children and families.
* Excellent clinical assessment, formulation, and therapeutic planning skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
Additional Requirements:
* Full driver's license and access to a car for travel between sites.
* Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
