Supermarket Assistant Manager – West Clare
Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced and driven Assistant Manager to join a large, high-volume supermarket in West Clare.

1. Salary: €45,000 – €50,000

Responsibilities:
3. Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations
4. Lead, motivate, and manage large teams of up to 80 staff
5. Drive high standards in customer service, merchandising, and compliance
6. Support sales performance in a high-volume store environment
7. Assist with staff training, development, and performance management
8. Ensure efficient stock control, cost management, and operational standards
Requirements:
9. Minimum 4 year's experience in a supermarket management role
10. Must come from a supermarket background only
11. Proven experience managing large teams (up to 80 staff)
12. Experience working in a high-volume store with weekly sales exceeding €350k
13. Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
