We currently seek to recruit a Receptionist to join our reception team. This role will report to the Front of House of Manager. The hours of work for this role are 2pm-7pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

* Leading the welcome experience of the firm, providing information, guidance and direction appropriately
* Responding to calls in a timely and professional manner as outlined in the firms telephone answering guidelines
* Notifying appropriate person of visitor arrival
* Liaising appropriately and positively with in-house clients and communicating effectively in a professional manner with all levels of the business
* Maintaining/printing relevant lists for H&S, security and the firm’s telephone switch
* Maintaining security by following procedures; monitoring visitor badge system and issuing/controlling visitor badges
* Maintaining telecommunications system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation (Commsoft System)
* Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
* Assisting in ensuring the meeting rooms are serviced effectively and that requested set ups are properly prepared
* Liaising with taxi companies and ensuring that all services are in line with firm expectation.
* Responding to ad hoc needs of clients including assisting with conference call set ups, photo copying and booking hotels/restaurants, if needed
* Liaising effectively with Catering Department to ensure that catering services to meeting rooms are booked/
* From time to time, in the absence of the Front of House Manager:
* Ensure that any AV requirements and/or IT requirements for meetings are properly set up and tested in advance
* Manage the maintenance of all audio visual presentation equipment in Conference Rooms

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

The successful candidate will have:

* Previous experience in a Corporate Receptionist role
* Good telephone skills and manner
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner with all levels of the business
* Strong verbal communication
* Microsoft Office skills
* Professional and polished
* Customer focused
* Enthusiasm to contribute to team efforts but can also work alongside others
* Conscientious
* Works well under pressure
* Previous experience within a professional services firm or similar would be advantageous
