Work Environment:This position is work from home based in Ireland. Working Hours: Total 37.5 actual working hours per week, or 7.5 hours per day (not including a 1 hour break). You may be requested to work overtime for special program events.About this Role We're seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. This role will be central to ensuring accurate revenue recognition, compliance with IFRS 15 / FRS 102, and timely, insightful reporting. You'll combine technical accounting expertise with a passion for improving processes and systems as we continue to scale.You'll work cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Legal, FP&A, and other Finance teams to enhance revenue processes, strengthen controls, and support the company's continued growth.Responsibilities: Revenue Recognition & ReportingOwn revenue recognition across all products and entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 / FRS 102 and company policies.Manage month-end and year-end revenue close activities — including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and revenue schedules.Maintain deferred revenue and contract liability reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.Business partner with Sales Ops and Legal to review customer contracts and ensure appropriate revenue treatment (includes SaaS, usage based contracts as well as project based % completion contracts).Resolve technical revenue queries and provide guidance across the business, including revenue memos as appropriate.COGS & Margin AnalysisAnalyse COGS and gross margin across product lines and geographies, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.Collaborate with FP&A to align reporting and profitability insights across the business.Systems, Processes & ControlsSupport implementation and enhancement of revenue systems such as HubSpot and Sage Intacct.Identify and deliver process improvements that drive automation, accuracy, and efficiency.Maintain strong internal controls over revenue-related processes and documentation.Prepare supporting materials for internal and external audits.Finance Projects & Business GrowthSupport ERP implementation and system optimisation projects.Assist with new legal entity setup, including revenue contract configuration and accounting readiness.Contribute to process documentation, policy development, and other initiatives that strengthen the finance function.Lead efforts to streamline reporting timelines and improve month-end efficiency.Required Skills and Experience:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with 2+ years experience in a similar revenue related role.Strong understanding of IFRS 15 / FRS 102 and related accounting principles.Analytical, detail-driven and comfortable managing complex data sets.Tech-savvy, with experience using Sage Intacct, Hubspot, or other ERP/CRM tools.Experience with Gen AI or Googlesuite App Scripting a distinct advantage.Collaborative and proactive, with a track record of process improvement and cross functional partnership.Thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment where you can influence change and drive results.Must have a proactive "can-do" attitude with a strong work ethic that drives to always achieve targets/deadlines.Excellent attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
