Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure day-to-day transport operations are delivered on-time, safely, and cost-effectively.
* Oversee fleet performance, vehicle utilisation, maintenance, and route efficiency across multiple sectors.
* Maintain full compliance with industry regulations and requirements as required by customers.
* Develop and manage teams for Transport, Planning, Customs, and Customer Service.
* Set clear KPIs and accountability standards for performance and conduct.
* Promote a results-driven culture focused on teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing clients across all business areas.
* Collaborate with the sales and commercial team to identify new business opportunities.
* Lead contract implementation and service level reviews with key accounts.
* Manage operational budgets, including P&L ownership, cost control, and efficiency optimisation.
* Analyse operational data to inform decisions, improve margins, and enhance customer experience.
