Atalia Student Residences DAC is a wholly owned subsidiary company of University of Galway andis responsible forthe management and operation of campus residences Dunlin Village, GoldcrestVillage and Corrib Village,as well as the co-ordination of conferences and events across the campus.
Job Role
As Academic Year Business Coordinator you will actively contribute to the smooth and effective functioning of accommodation services for students throughout the academic year. Your role will entail the coordination of reservations, administration of booking systems, relationship management with internal and external stakeholders and supporting students living in residences.
The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a higher education context and proficiency in IT and reservations systems. This is a maternity cover contract position.

Main Responsibilities
Business Administration:
* Administeraccommodation applications,reservationsand allocations foreachacademicyear
* Assist with financial administration and reporting for residents accounts
* Handle invoicing for partners
* Collaborate with internal and external partners
Student Welfare
* Take a lead role in managing residents welfare and liaise withUniversitysupport services to actively supportthewellbeing of allresidents
* Actasa primary point of contact for resident welfare issues, disciplinaryissuesandconcerns
Customer Service Excellence
* Promoteexceptional customer service standards for students living in residences
* Assistwiththecoordination of day-to-day communication withresidents
EventManagement
* Plan and organise a vibrant programme of social and pastoral events to optimise residents experience of living oncampus
* Contribute to students orientation andinduction
Personal Attributes

* Two yearsrelevantexperienceinasimilar role
* Ability toprioritise,produceaccurateworkunder pressureandmeet deadlines
* Excellent writing and communication skillsand ability to present in a confident and clearmanner
* Well-developed decision-making skills
* Highly developed business administration and organisational skills
* Confidence in the use of IT packages and hospitality CRM systems
* Proficiencyin Microsoft 365
* Capacityforboth directed and self-directed workandan ability to lead by example
