Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled AI Technical Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects, from understanding and interpreting technical plans to delivering actionable roadmaps. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with high-level management and resolve challenges that arise throughout the project..
Key Responsibilities:
* Works closely with operations stakeholders to coordinate and gather requirements, define user stories contributing to the development of product / process roadmap
* Collaborate with engineering, product, operation and technical teams to understand technical requirements and create detailed roadmaps for project execution.
* Develop clear and actionable plans that outline tasks, timelines, and resources needed to deliver projects successfully.
* Understand the role of data analytics and business intelligence to enable product / process adoption within teams and enable prompt decision making within projects
* Develop and execute test plans to ensure deliverables meet the technical specifications and quality standards.
* Oversee the testing process, ensuring thorough validation of features and functionalities before release.
* Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on the progress of technical projects.
* Monitor project timelines, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for both technical teams and high-level management.
* Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.
* Identify potential risks and blockers, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
* Lead difficult conversations when necessary, providing solutions to any challenges or conflicts that may arise.
* Foster a collaborative working environment, ensuring that all team members are aligned and working towards common goals.
* Offer guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, helping them prioritize tasks and stay focused on project objectives.
* Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, progress, testing results, and any changes made throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including roadmaps, test plans, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
* 3+ years of experience in a technical project management role or a similar capacity in a technical environment.
* Strong understanding of software development processes, technical architecture, and engineering concepts.
* Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering technical projects on time and within budget.
* Strong technical background with the ability to understand and interpret technical plans, designs, and roadmaps.
* Experience in creating and executing test plans and managing testing processes.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to a diverse audience.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations and provide solutions.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
