Job Title: Network Support Engineer/Administrator (Data)Location: Dublin (onsite)Contract Type: Day Rate Contract (1-year Contract)Strong Daily RateStart Date: ASAP (Two Interview Stage Process)OverviewPFH Technology is partnering directly with a Dublin based Client who seeks a Senior Network Engineer/Administrator (7+ years’ experience) to design, implement, and support complex enterprise network environments across LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure. The role involves delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing network solutions, supporting modern architectures such as SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust, and ensuring compliance with security standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide end-to-end network design, implementation, and support across enterprise environments.Diagnose and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues with root cause analysis.Monitor network health, capacity, and performance using enterprise tools.Design and implement network upgrades, configurations, and infrastructure improvements.Deliver technical documentation (configurations, diagrams, runbooks, and procedures).Implement and manage network security controls (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, segmentation, ACLs).Support adoption of SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust architectures.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001).Manage DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and network topology documentation.Lead or support network projects, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.Deliver automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to team members.Produce reports on incidents, performance, risks, and improvements.Must-Have Skills & Experience7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.Strong expertise in routing & switching, LAN/WAN, VLANs, IP addressing, and wireless networks.Hands-on experience with network security (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs).Experience with Aruba ClearPass (Policy Manager, Guest, Insight).Experience with HP/Aruba networking (Comware, switching, wireless).Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, HP IMC, SNMP, SSH).Experience with DHCP/DNS administration (Microsoft environments).Proven ability in network troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.Experience supporting SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust architectures.Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and ITIL-based working experience.Mandatory QualificationsNFQ Level 8 (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related disciplineACCP – Aruba Certified ClearPass ProfessionalPlease note no visa sponsorship for this role
