They have a strong culture of employee engagement and personal development, achieving Gold status in the Investors in People accreditation.Purpose Of The RoleTo proactively take steps to increase sales, provide excellent customer service and increase the profitability of the business.Your primary focus will be on managing opportunities within your territory which will be managed through the sales process, to the benefit of both our customers and the business, to achieve your sales target.A combination of account management and business development will be required to achieve your sales target on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis whilst ensuring our customers are delighted through engagement with the business.KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:• Prospect within your accounts to find new senior contacts and opportunities• Manage Transaction & Facilitation opportunities within the territory• Identify and develop Solution based opportunities within your accounts • Utilise the product experts in securing whitespace opportunities• Work closely with the wider team including System Architects for support with facilitation & Solution based opportunities • Use the Customer Centric Selling process to align with the customers' business requirements.• Provide a monthly sales report that allows market and customer feedback to be shared throughout the company and promote best practice within the sales team.• Work closely with the Sales Administration Department, ensuring all information is provided to them when requesting a quote or asking for orders to be submitted • Support colleagues with licensing queries where possible • Provide excellent customer service to all of our customers • Communicate business values at all levels within an organisation.• Hybrid Home Office and Field based role to work with customers face to face, both at customer premises and at the business where applicable• Ensure that all opportunities are continually updated with relevant notes and that they are correctly categorised based on the relevant stage of the sales process.Qualifications:• Degree or similar technical qualificationSpecific Knowledge & Experience• Office based sales experience in selling automation products • Office based sales experience in selling software• Knowledge of SaaS• Field based sales experience of above (this is a hybrid role though Home & Field)• Knowledge of Industrial IT sector• Proficient in using Microsoft office packages (word, Excel etc)• Demonstratable use of a solution-based sales processApply now if you feel you have the experience and drive to take the next step in your career.
